The writing/betaing/reading numbers are way, way down from last year and down again from the year before that. Part of this was intentional. For about six months I didn't write, beta, or read much of anything because I was moving and changing jobs and dealing with life garbage and burnout. In 2015 I'd like to take a more moderate approach and limit myself to maybe one fest and try to write one other story just for fun. I think I need to get back to writing without the fest pressure. That said, I'll read fest prompts because I generally like the stort that results when a prompt steals my heart. Wish Upon a Star was prompt-based, and it's my favorite from 2014. Also, interestingly, I didn't write a lot of hard angst in 2014 (compared to 2013 when I wrote Kiss the Joy and And So Death Took), but I'm in the mood to write it again, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what appears first from me in 2015. I also wouldn't mind doing some additional betaing in 2015, perhaps picking up another regular writer or two.
