I've carved my first Halloween pumpkin of the year. While I make my own patterns much of the time, I used a pre-existing one this time, so I'm sure you've seen someone carve this before. Nonetheless, I'm pleased with Draco. He's quite handsome.


The fabulous tuesdaymidnight carved with me, and she carved Death. I rather think her favorite part was fisting the pumpkin to scoop out the goop. *ahem*

Anyway, here's our combined handiwork for this evening.

Ha. Yes, I tend to do a few every year. I feel somewhat like I cheated with this one because of using a pre-fab stencil, but I didn't have time to make one from scratch last night. And now I'm sort of addicted to the ease of the predesigned ones. I'm quite sure a Harry pumpkin is also going to happen this weekend, and then maybe Snape. (I've never done Harry Potter ones before; last year was Merlin and the year prior I think I did Twilight. Or maybe that was the year before. I think I did Anderson Cooper at some point in there as well...I can't remember.)

That's so cool! We don't really do Halloween in Australia so I've never carved a pumpkin in my life. Also, it's spring here :-). You make it look like a lot of fun :-)

I do it every year, usually several. This was simplest one I've done in awhile and I used a pattern, so I feel as though I should feel a bit guilty. But whatever, you know? Draco looks good! :D

Oh! No, YOU can't say that! You carve actual amazing pumpkins. I saw your post! I even used a stencil for this one instead of designing my own. GAH. I feel like I've cheated. But you'd never use a stencil! LOL.

Ha. By next year this time you'll have it down! The right tools make it so easy. I am ridiculously impressed by what *you* did...and now even more so knowing that you didn't use a stencil or have great knives!
